He condemned the theft of the Eucharist as a grave offense carrying automatic excommunication. He called on the faithful to pray for the perpetrators’ repentance and the return of the sacred hosts, and urged parishes to hold “Days of Eucharistic Prayer.” A rite of reparation will take place on April 11 in San Lucas Cuauhtelulpan.
