Traditional Latin Mass celebrated in Kerala, India. On October 2, Fr. Melvin Watts FSSP, celebrated the Latin Mass at the Poor Clares’ Convent in Ernakulam, Kerala. He is a priest with family roots in Kochi and Kottayam, who holds a German passport. Fr. Watts, a former banker, visited his ancestral homeland during his annual vacation. The Mass was offered for the cloistered nuns and faithful, with the permission of Archbishop Joseph Kalathiparambil of Verapoly.
On the Feast of the Guardian Angels, the Extraordinary Form of the Latin Mass was celebrated in the Adoration Chapel of the Convent of the Poor Clares in Ernakulam, Kerala. Rev. Fr.
