Leo XIV Appoints Indian Bishop Practicing Indigenous Adivasi Rites: Today, Pope Leo XIV has appointed the indigenious Bishop Albert Hemrom, 57, as Coadjutor Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Guwahati, India. This video was taken in October 2023 when he celebrated the silver jubilee of St John Vianney Church in Uriamghat, Assam. Monsignor Hemrom participated in the Aarti ceremony with the Adivasi community. Women held ceremonial brass platters (thali). Incense was waved before the bishop to purify him and invoke blessings. Then, a red tilak blessing mark was placed on his forehead. Finally, he was presented with a traditional Assamese gamosa, a handwoven white-and-red ceremonial scarf, which was draped around his neck.

The Test: Roman magistrates gave arrested Christians a chance to go free. All they had to do was scatter a pinch of incense on an altar fire to the pagan gods or to the genius of the Emperor. That "single pinch of incense" was the definitive test of the ancient world. It is most famously associated with St. Polycarp, the Bishop of Smyrna, who was martyred around 155–156 AD.
He is doing everything he can to make it a lot worse for us. China holds the rare earths we need to make many things. Especially our bombs. It's also said that he is going to send in many of our men into Iran to Kharg Island so that they can die and use it as an excuse to nuke Iran as once again, Which he has threatened them with. He is going way out to make the people agree with this war and make it seem as though it's Iran who is the evil one. He cares nothing about the lives of anyone but his own and his family. And I have huge doubts about his caring that much for his family. As I have said, he will cause WWlll. We are already in it now. But it will soon get a lot worse if he sends our Military into Kharg Island to die for his failures and greed and his ego which Iran has destroyed with the help of China!

Bishop AGUER about novus ordo : "This and other doctrinal, moral and disciplinary disasters emptied the seminaries and convents; triggered massive desertions in the clergy and religious life, and unleashed a bleeding in the Church." Entire statement in Spanish below.
Traditionis Custodes (2021) deepened wounds and, contrary to what Pope Francis intended, contributed to growing interest in the Roman rite, Archbishop Emeritus Héctor Aguer, 83, of La Plata, Argentina, wrote in a July 13 statement. He notes that the Roman rite is especially popular among the young and contributes to “a good portion of conversions.” “The transmission of the faith,” he adds, “is no longer passed, to a significant degree, from parents to children but from young people to young people.” Monsignor Aguer says that “persecution or the extreme measures of progressivism” will not stop this growing movement. It goes “far beyond mere fashion” - whereas the fashion over the past sixty years has been to turn the Novus Ordo into an anything-goes vehicle of liturgical devastation. He writes that the four Eucharistic Prayers of the Novus Ordo have effectively been displaced by “Eucharistic Prayer Zero” - whatever happens to occur to the celebrant at the moment. In Argentina, the proportion …okunengi
Solo Dios …okunengi
"It is obviously possible to be fully Catholic while living the sacramental life according to the books of 1962. It is absolutely unacceptable to affirm the contrary", Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke told the organisers of the Chartres pilgrimage ‘Notre-Dame de Chrétienté’ in a July 14 YouTube.com video. And: "The liturgy according to the usus antiquior of the Roman Rite is an inestimable treasure of the Church which must be preserved and cherished because it is intimately linked to the very identity of the Roman Catholic Church." Cardinal Burke argued that the Roman rite has proven to be a powerful instrument of evangelization: “It is evident that this liturgy is missionary," he said. "This is seen by its fruits today as in centuries past, because it attracts through its sense of the sacred and transcendence." He added that this is "particularly evident with the younger generation," which he said has "a profound hunger for the spiritual in an increasingly horizontal world." Vatican II …okunengi
Cardinal Burke: “If the Conciliar Fathers, as they did after the Mass of October 24, 1967 during the Synod of Bishops, had had to vote on the project of the 1969 Missal (New Mass), it is by no means certain that a majority would have voted in favor”
He speaks with forked tongue. Because it's not just about the Liturgy. It's also about VCII and the gross apostasy and heresies running rampant throughout the Church; and the abandonment of the Deposit of Faith by her leadership.
Today, Cardinal Robert Sarah delivered an address at the European Parliament in Brussels. He noted that the European Union uses development aid and international agreements to export abortion and gender ideology to African nations. He spoke of "ideological colonization", arguing that modern Europe increasingly seeks to influence African legislation through trade agreements, development assistance, and diplomatic pressure. Words Have a Meaning Opening his address, Sarah questioned whether Europe and Africa still share a common understanding of the language that dominates international diplomacy. "Can we still understand each other? Do the words we use - human rights, dignity, development, freedom, health, gender, family - still mean the same thing to those who pronounce them in Brussels, Strasbourg, Kampala, or Conakry?" Inconsistency Is Deliberate One of his examples is the expression “sexual and reproductive health” that often means abortion. Another example is the term “gender equality …okunengi
Trudeau Appears in Katy Perry’s Video Watch It Burn: Katy Perry’s new Watch It Burn promo briefly features former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the background. The music video includes scenes inside a church, with Perry shown sitting in a church pew. The imagery, combined with the lyric 'watch it burn', is reminiscent of the wave of church arsons in Canada during Trudeau's time in office. Since 2021, more than 120 churches have been damaged by arson or vandalism.
Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appeared in the background of a promotional video for girlfriend Katy Perry’s latest music video titled “Watch It Burn” that has led to speculation of a connection to churches burning down in Canada over the past five years.

He was ordained a priest in 1989 for the Diocese of Kilmore and has served as Auxiliary Bishop of Armagh since 2019. He also said Francis embodied simplicity and service from his earliest days as priest and bishop. Demanding Irish Houses for Immigrants On [Muslim] immigrants, in a January 2020 statement, Bishop Router urged Ireland, as the country of "a thousand welcomes," to consider with compassion its responsibility to welcome the stranger. During a recent Alpine Mass celebrated in the woods before a cheerful gathering of elderly people, Bishop Derio Olivero, 65, of Pinerolo, Italy, said that there is one part of the Mass "that no longer works", the Penitential Act, reports MessaInLatino.it on 14 July. The blog notes that during Mass, the bishop wore his characteristic episcopal bandana as headgear. Monsignor Olivero is a pro-homosexual activist. During the Alpine Mass, he said sentimentally, "The Mass is a slow act of love. The acts of love are not done in a hurry; caresses given in haste become slaps. So, if you're willing, let's do something: look into each other's eyes for a moment. Look at the person beside you and think: 'This is my brother; this is my sister.'" #newsUaxcxarjhf

Run of Saint Andrew: Amalfi's Centuries-Old Tradition. The spectacular 'Run of Saint Andrew' in Amalfi, Italy, is part of a centuries-old celebration honoring Saint Andrew, the city's patron saint. According to local tradition, on 27 June 1544, as the fleet of the Ottoman corsair Khayr al-Din Barbarossa threatened Amalfi, the townspeople prayed for Saint Andrew's intercession. A violent storm scattered the enemy ships, and the city was spared. Each year on 27 June, bearers carry the silver reliquary bust of Saint Andrew at a run up the 62 steps of Amalfi Cathedral, commemorating this traditional account of the city's deliverance.

Pope Leo XIV just appointed a German bishop who supported same-sex blessings, gender ideology, and LGBT initiatives. The same Vatican that celebrated that appointment has now imposed canonical sanctions on the Society of Saint Pius X, sanctions that require a more demanding process for lifting than the procedure for Catholics who have procured an abortion. The comparison is stark. The priorities are exposed. The inconsistencies that have left traditional Catholics reeling are now being seen. John-Henry Westen also investigates a widely circulated letter attributed to Bishop Fulton Sheen criticizing the SSPX. While the letter may be genuine, the host argues it likely does not reflect Sheen's own thinking, citing historical inaccuracies, Sheen's declining health, and the possibility that staff drafted much of his correspondence. The Vatican's treatment of the SSPX is not about discipline. It is about eliminating the Traditional Latin Mass and the communities that preserve it. The episcopal …okunengi
Another piece of the puzzle is that +Sheen - like MANY priests at the time (even my saintly confessor) - saw Vatican II as "of the Holy Spirit" and submitted to it in obedience. They explained the fallout after the 2nd Vatican Council as a "high jacking" of the "reform" by radical progressives. Hindsight has revealed that the impetus of the council itself was flawed: that the Church needed to change to speak to "the modern world."
This is not meant to be uncharitable, but Fulton Sheen should not be a yardstick to measure orthodoxy. Whatever zeal he had initially, he was full bore a lover of VCII, Paul VI and the new mass. I am sure with that pedigree he was not a friend of Abp. Lefebvre or the Society
