Monsignor Gänswein serves as Apostolic Nuncio to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Priests must continue to celebrate the traditional Mass ‘under the radar’ and, when necessary, openly defy the attempted prohibition of it, philosopher Peter Kwasniewski told Certamen.info. He underlined that lay Catholics who attend an FSSPX Mass because of their attachment to the old rite are “by no means schismatics.” But he simultaneously distances himself from a more strongly pro-FSSPX position: “If another opportunity of assisting at the old rite is already available in the same geographical area, it becomes harder to justify attending an SSPX chapel.” He points to the FSSPX’s “manifest canonical irregularity.”

The Anglican St. Paul’s Cathedral in London has entered a four-year partnership with Fabric, one of the city’s best-known nightclubs. Fabric will stage contemporary music events inside the cathedral through 2030. The first concert is scheduled for October 29. The artist has not yet been announced.
